H.E.A.D.S. was established over 30 years ago by hard working volunteers who wanted to make soccer a great sport in our town.
Our volunteers helped to create Barbour field from the ground up. They cleared rocks from the field by hand, got the grass going, drew the lines and did all field maintenance. They even applied for and received funding from the Trillium Foundation for the lights that are still in use today. These days Barbour field is maintained by the Town of Erin.
Recently our volunteers have established our town's newest recreation facility, the Erin Indoor Recreation Centre (EIRC), in a joint venture with the Erin Agricultural Society.
This new facility, located in the 'big green' agricultural building on Main St in Erin has an 110' x 60' indoor turf field and allows our teams and many other users a great place to play when our outdoor fields are closed. At this time H.E.A.D.S. is using the facility for our rep teams and we have offered soccer skills training there in past but we are eager to re-establish our indoor soccer house league there for the Winter 2016/2017 season.
